One of my first memories was riding the gondola and looking down at the river. On the west bank in particular the gondola was very much missed. Those towers I recall seeing all the time growing up. Also glad you did a shout out to French Quarter Undercover. I watched it during a bad movie night in 2017.

THAT BLDG WAS COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "PUZZLE PALACE" ONE BIG JOB WAS PROCESSING PERSONNEL INTO SERVICE AND DOING PERSONNEL REASSIGNMENTS FROM MILITARY UNIT TO OTHER STATION / BILLETS. MY BIG QUESTION IS IT STILL ON FEDERAL LAND? WHY DIDN'T GOV'T TEAR DOWN THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE ? NEW ORLEANS LET IT STAND AND BECOME AN EYESORE. DUH!

What was so terrible to have violence and children warning??? All I saw was trash, garbage, graffiti, and destroyed furniture and walls.

As an electrician, I see they did an incredible job of pulling ALL the copper out of that building. Some of them pulls would have required equipment. I wonder if it was a contractor or some damn good crackheads.

I lived in Alexandria until 1979. Went to the Mirror Room many times for drinks after work. Stayed in the Hotel a few times for overnight meetings in Alexandria, great place. I never had any paranormal experiences or heard of anyone else that did.

I would like to see that place.

Not long after we explored this school, the entire place was torn down and the area completely razed to make way for something else. We’re glad we were able to document it one last time before that happened. Thanks for watching!

Confounds me why 95% of the RUclips Video Treks of Historic towns and Ghost Towns are absent any value of the layout/maps. Even if the Channel Hist has to draw the plats out. I attended school there from 1968 to 1974. Very sad, its condition after Katrina. If they have not torn it down at this writing, they need to. Good memories there and I do not care to remember it this way.
